    III. DESCRIPTION
    1. What forms of cooperation were used as new approaches in the field of rehabilitation and conversion of urban functional areas?
    2. Outdoor swimming pools with geothermal water were made available to the public in 1983, in the time of socialism building. They were restored and renovated in 2006 – 2007. Currently there are 8 outdoor pools with thermal water: two swimming pools, five relaxation pools and a non-swimmers pool. In relaxation pools there are various water attractions (underwater benches, water fountains In 2008, five new stainless steel pools with clear heated water were opened, suitable for all categories of visitors. The wellness center offers perfect relax. A wide variety of services is provided in the Relax center - massage, lymphatic drainage, light therapy, sun parlor, fitness.

    4. Thermal park expansion project is perfectly identified with a valuable legacy from the socialist era. By implementation of this project, this legacy was emphasized due to provision of more quality services in a much larger quantity.

    6. In the project, there was applied the criterion of innovativeness in providing of services and leisure time activities. The principles of efficiency and sustainability were applied too, because the provided services are currently attractive not only for the people from the region, but for foreign visitors too. It can be assumed that in the future, the interest in relax in this area wil increase, which will guarantee the sustainable development in the region.

    8. (The project implementation was important for local community and this importance has an increasing perspective. The development of tourism has been beneficial in terms of visibility of the region and in terms of employment of local community.

    10. The thermal park is located outside the village of Bešeňová. It was made accessible by modern and safe communications. The thermal park has a safe parking area protected by security cameras.

    12. The thermal park is located outside the village. Road communications were bulit in a way that allows the spa and the village to seem like a solid and perfectly arranged architectural entity

    IV. SUPPLEMENT

    There are more than 6 000 people living in Dědina block of flats. The whole revitalization 3 -phases -process took 4 years and the total cost of the project was 11 200 000 EUR. It is one of the first completely reconstructed block of flats as far as the public spaces in Prague are concerned.
