    1. Improved condition & quality of the public space between the blocks of flats.

      Pavilion M3 is a reproduction of a typical two-room flat from the settlement Służew na Dolinką (SND) and a number of artistic installations in the area of valley. The transfer of M3 flat into green area is to provoke discussion about the quality of life and better use of green space. There were: • organised exhibitions devoted to the architecture of this residential area, its past and future • presented photographs about the spaces in this residential areas and its inhabitants • consultations with architects who showed the possible ways of the transformation of typical M3 flat, tailored to the needs of people from different generations. Pavillion M3 was also a place for meetings and discussions with inhabitansts on the local identity, space, exchange and recycling of used things from basements and flats. This project was source of experience and inspiration for inhabitants as well as a place for exchange of information and creation of future of the residential area.

    2. Improved involvement of the local community in events organized in its quarter.

      The pavilion M3 was created for the better involvement of local communities into the discussion on quality of life and better use of green space. In this way decision making process may be changed by taking into account the feedback from local communities.


    The project M3 in Służewiecka Valley is implemented as a part of the initiative Yellow Line, which is an answer to the longing for a friendly neighbourhood space for different age groups. Yellow Line implements temporary structures and small-scale interventions that may permanently affect the locations and its inhabitants. It was pavilion M3 was open from 27 August till 11 September 2011.
