    1. What forms of cooperation were used as new approaches in the field of rehabilitation and conversion of urban functional areas?
    2. Before the implementation of the project two public meetings with the organizers, the partners of the project, representatives of Prague 12 and local communities were held. The head of local primary and public school and represents of local commercial entities were also present at these meetings. Comments and opinions of the public developed ideas on the proposed modifications of the concerned public space. Comments and suggestions from the local residents were included into the final study . A survey among local residents was also carried out.

    8. The concerned space is located between the village, prefabricated houses and the primary school Písnická. Several walkways which are crossing the area lead to the school, shop and the bus station. This area has the potential to create an atmosphere, to attract people and to be integrating element of the project area . Local residents and in particular the represents of the local NGO Club of friends of the primary school Písnická were actively involved in the implementation of the project. Local NGO financially supported the project and received (with the help from Municipality of Prague 12) the grant. The pupils of the local primary school were involved in the preparatory works of the project as they help to plant the greenery.

    10. The impact of the project can be measured mostly on the local level. The potential of the newly renovated public space will attract mainly local residents and students, the intention of the project was to enhance the environment of the local setting.

    11. Were there attempts to reduced disparities between districts within cities/towns achieved reduced? And, if so, how was success on this front gauged?
    12. As the project was based on the local level no direct attempts have been made to reduce disparities. The major attention has been devoted to overall regeneration of the zone, the indirect influence on reducing the disparities can be considered by increasing the above mentioned aspects of quality of living and thus approaching them to the rest of the city, and in improvement of the social learning and social interaction potential within the regenerated area between the buildings.

    There are more than 6 000 people living in Dědina block of flats. The whole revitalization 3 -phases -process took 4 years and the total cost of the project was 11 200 000 EUR. It is one of the first completely reconstructed block of flats as far as the public spaces in Prague are concerned.
