    1. Improved provision of local cultural and social events.

Warsaw Under Construction is a festival of city design that has been organized since 2009 by Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw. The idea is to confront different areas of expertise on the city and look for hot spots on the map of Warsaw. Iit also returns to the valuable experiences of the history of architecture and urbanism and at the same time trying to predict trends in the development of Warsaw. The festival tries to influence on the city future by the local communities involvement. There were 3 main issues discussed. The first topic was housing policy in the context of free market (Looking for right home). The second topic focused on spatial planning (New order. Land use in cities after 1989?). The third issue was participation of local communities (Non-participation. What’s wrong with being involved?).
